This expressive work was created in support of the inspiring initiative Schulen für die Welt (Schools for the World), a volunteer project dedicated to building educational and aid facilities worldwide. 11% of the proceeds from this painting will be donated to the cause.
The painting itself, Crazy Professor, reflects the energy of teaching and the magic of life. Painted using a business card as a spatula—a tool also used metaphorically in construction—it emphasises the connection between building structures and building knowledge. The swirling, vibrant strokes embody a professor who passionately shares lessons that extend far beyond conventional education. In today’s society, much of what we learn in school quickly becomes irrelevant, while the essential truths about humanity and living fully are often overlooked. The touches of gold represent the enduring value of these deeper lessons—the true wealth that education should pass on.
